to Lil Yachty

Bold graphics set the stage for an animated interview with Lil Yachty. As part of vevo’s series “The World According to” I set out to develop a unique graphic style that strikes a balance between reality and the imagination. The result was a playful cell animation that takes viewers on a ride through Lil Yachty’s world.

As part of vevo’s dscvr series, I developed a collection of custom lyric animations to showcase various up and coming artists. Translating the style developed for The World According to Lil Yatchy, I was able to create a custom typographic style that both highlighted lyrics and worked together with audio cues—the result was an immersive lyric videos.
